Biography

Alkalina Linur, born into the most oppressive poverty in the solar system. Being a lunar rat she has always been oppressed, the people of Lunis, the capital of Lunar where she lives, sees her species as pests, they call them Marenarattan, Lunar rat in Lunarian. Nothing by an annoyance, poor creatures whose deaths would make nobody sad. However Alkalina takes this to a whole new level. Alkalina was born into the controversial Linur tribe. She was the only girl in a litter of 11 boys and well… Lunar rats often birth very large litters but most don’t make it to adulthood, most simply starve, there is not a lot of food to go around on Lunar, Alkalina had to learn how to survive, how to make it in a tribe of 600 rats. How to fight for her food, how to conserve it. Alkalina knows how to manipulate, how to get what she wants, how to play her brothers and few sisters like a fiddle. But also how to get her way in life. From a very young age she took on a more academic outlook on life. She wanted to be the best at what she does, the best was always what she was. No school wanted to admit her, so she took on the books on her own. She taught herself science and math and writing. Soon she took her life beyond the poverty and misery of the tribe. Alkalina’s tribe always hated her, she was loud and obnoxious, the rest of the boys kept their heads down yet she stood up for herself, her parents are incredibly disappointed in her, Alkalina always simply wanted her parents approval, to be special, attention that she never got. When she went to try out life on her own, away from the tribe, she was admitted by the LSA onto their pilot program, she had great grades and was incredible at selling herself in applications. But she faked her species in applications, they realized what she was and wanted nothing to do with her. However she begged for them to try her out for a few days and I mean, good grades and they needed pilots desperately, so they did. They were flabbergasted. She hit every goal, the perfect recruit. They took her on and she started studying Aerospace engineering. Out here in the real world, she was exposed to the worlds of other people, her past and her future was a difficult subject for her, she went clubbing with her friends, drank herself drunk and took every drug under the sun, she was high every day and yet still completed her tasks. cocaine and heroin was her gateway, then came the red ice and the moxie. She was a party girl, beyond all else. She graduated, was hired by the LSA as an Interstellar pilot, tasked with the great responsibility of the Dragon ONE space ferry, ferrying passengers between earth and lunar. But that life of alcohol, drugs, pleasures and fun never stopped. She barely sleeps, drinks and uses every day, yet has very few friends to hang out with. She truly doesn’t care, her life is hers, and none can take that away. Alkalina is brash, hardcore, badass yet cunning and manipulative, she is high octane, always moving, always engaging. She is a drug fueled, party girl who happens to be super good at her job, she loves the life of pleasure and the fast moments, the speed, the glory. She rarely sleeps, fields herself on energy drinks and cocaine, yet makes sure to always look spotless, always be in front of others, always right where she needs to be. She is self aware, she knows what she is doing, Loud, obnoxious, yet Manipulative, cunning and very, very immature, a child most of the time. She never really grew past instant gratification and the impulse to just act. She is caring, funny and loyal to those she cares for, but can be a bitch to those she doesn’t. She worships the goddess of the moon, Luna, she lives the moon, her home, and she bleeds Lunarian, she enjoys it for all it is and could be.
