About Afterlife
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*Welcome to Afterlife*:・゚✧*:・゚✧

An intentional community where we share and enrich our lives, and the lives of others, by sharing our experiences, cultivating friendship, social progression, and artistic expression.

It's been quite a while for most of us-- who am I kidding-- all of us. We welcome you back to a forum lost to us, and one we likely never thought we'd see again, and yet, here we are.

We are looking forward to learning about your life, aspects that have changed, things you've learned, and hurts you've endured along the way. Hell, hurts we've all endured along the way.

Long gone is our youth. The girls and boys who thought e-drama was the worst life could ever be, learned (some of us gently and with light, the rest of us borne through pain and suffering) that was the BEST life could ever be.

We welcome back the weary souls who have traveled on roads and through passages, some of us will never know. Still, while we all walked our own paths, the journey was similar for some, and we managed to find some common ground: survival.

We survived.

Some Quirks
Now there are a few essential items we want to review with you all.
  • First, do not be surprised if you run into errors. We expect this and have planned for it. The board's software is a significantly depreciated version of the XMB software and PHP server.

  • That said, if you find something, don't panic. Head over to our Support Desk forum, create a new thread with the issue, and our staff will add it to our bug tracker for review.

  • Second, the generalized forums are available for everyone's use; however, we also have specialized forums tailored to specific hobbies and interests that others may not be interested in viewing. If you wish to access these forums, please visit the GROUPS link found in the header's menu under the MEMBERS link. The number of posts you will need to join each group, is listed alongside the group.

  • Lastly, posting threads asking about people's favorites (i.e., What's your favorite color?) is restricted. We are an intentional community, that means the things we contribute should add some value. Whether that's learning something new about someone or sharing something you've kept inside— post with intent. We want to get to know you, not the superficial you, but the real YOU.

  • We are a community of intentions so in order to keep the sanctity of the community, member registration will ALWAYS require a registration code, unless member approval has been activated. In these rare instances, a registration code will not be required, however Admnistratrive approval will be.
